Spreading the word regarding positive rugby story on Fox News as they cover the rugby programs at Hyde and Model School for the Deaf where disability and disadvantage do not get in the way of the game.

I played for Baillou from 1978-80, and at the time was the youngest (16) player in the Bahamas Rugby Football Union. I went on to play Rugby at the University of Virginia for 4 years, until a knee injury ended my playing days or so I thought. This past year my son (8) started playing, and I decided to lend a hand coaching. I now play for a +35team -- Old French International Team - The Roosters (Alexandria, Virginia USA). I will always remember what a great time I had playing in the Bahamas.

Condolences to the Jamaica Rugby Football Union on the death of Sgt. Jacob Thompson, of blessed memory.
I met him in 1982 when I was in Jamaica, as a student at U.W.I, and, had the signal honour of assisting in the first Youth Rugby Tournament he organised in 1983. He gave me invaluable information in the formation of the Bahamas Youth Rugby Club, in 1999, and, was always available to advise, and encourage. He will be sorely missed.

If any one in the Bahamas would like to help create another form of rugby rivalry in the region, please contact me. There is huge potential for Rugby League rivalry between the some caribbean countries, USA, South Africa and Japan. Pathway to rugby league world cup too. Jamaica barely lost to USA 22-37 in front of 3000 in Jacksonville FL. Many ProfessionalRl players of varibbean decent wants to rep.theor islands in the sport.

In response to: Are Welsh Women Ugly?
persephone [Visitor]
i think that there are certain facial and body morphological characteristics prevalent in Welsh women, but, like all genetics, it is the particular mash-up of genetics and lifestyle that causes such differences. Also, Wales is a land of many genetic influences-Celtic, Phonecian, Roman, Breton. Ive notices there are very pale as well as very darkskinned Welsh women, they seem t have prominent noses, big eyes, full lips, and high cheek bones. But Im no expert, my family is Welsh and people here in the States consistantly assume that I am Jewish because certain non-Anglos characteristics so Ive done some research
