23rd June 2006 : Baillou Legend: Kurt Munroe

Rugby Bahamas would like to offer our commiserations to Baillou outside half, Kurt Munroe.
Despite his incessant screaming, Trinidad and Tobago didn't make it through the opening round of the Football World Cup.

Please Note: There will be informal 7s at Winton on Saturday (24th June).
As you may be aware, the National 7s team will be playing in the Cape Fear 7s on July 1st & 2nd.

If you can find your boots, get up to the pitch.

28th April 2006 : Tim Aylen's Shots

I just got my hand on some pictures by Tim Aylen. He's a fantastic photographer and a good friend to Bahamas Rugby. So put your crappy camera away boys and leave it to the grown ups.
These shots are from 3 seasons ago, when Baillou were still good and Garry Markham could still get his shorts over his knees.

I wouldn't normally post such old pictures, but Nicky Stubbs wanted me to because he thinks he looks good.

Dan Woodside (Cuckoos) gives Stephen Thompson (Baillou) a hug.

Marcus Cheetham gets some lovin'.

This picture's here because my wife thinks that Stevie Johnson (No.9) and John Isaacs (also No.9) have the best legs in sport. Hmm.....

This is the new interractive site of The Bahamas Rugby Football Union. If you look to the right, you'll see a list o categories. If you have a contribution to make to any of these categories, get in touch with your club representative or contact me by clicking on ely@bigblogmedia.com

As you can see, the site isn't finished yet, but we're working on it. Each club gets its own information section as well as all the rest of the BRFU stuff.

In the meantime, here's a bunch of pictures of the RWC Qualification Tournament in June, 2005. I have good quality copies of each picture - these are miniaturised samples, so if you want one, let me know.
