Game is due to kick off in 90 minutes - I can't get internet from beside the field, so I won't be able to do a running commentary.
I'll periodically update important events throughout the game.

Kevin is putting Jake and Connor through some kicking moves, the others are now resting and taking on water - it is seriously hot here - 91oF.

Jamaica are here - arrived 1/2 an hour ago. They're running lines at the moment and they're very big guys, most have beards and Ian Parish reckons one of them is with his grand-son.

10 minutes to go - anthems about to start.

The DJ messed up the Bahamian Anthem ,so the boys had to sing it - sounded good, though.

Jamaica Kick off to The Bahamas and we're under way.

Bahamas 0 - 5 Jamaica
First blood to Jamaica, inside centre crashes through to score on the left 20m in. Missed the conversion.

Huge tackle by Al-Mahdi Wilson (13) on his oppoosite number. They're both down and looking concussed. Physios are on.
Jamaican (12) is subbed off - Wilson is still down. This doesn't look good. Both medics are now attending to him and they've brought an unbrella on for the heat.

Med-Evac are on now with the stretcher. Looks like he's going to hospital.
Janeen's gone in the ambulane, Steve's following by car.

Spoke to the Physio, she thinks his neck is OK, but he was knocked out cold.

I'll tell you when I know more

Constant pressure from the Jamaicans. They'er winning all the ball up front. Heroic tacking from our boys and relatively poor ball handling from the Jamaicans is keeping The Bahamas in this game.

Great break through run by Jake Parish (10) called back for an eariler infringement - Bahamians are crying foul, but the ref's given a Jamaica scrum.

Jamaica are winning nearly all the scrums, but our line is holding.

Major Bahamian attack takes us 10 yds from goal.

Jamaican concussion now, he's take off - walking, he's OK.

Bahamas 3-5 Jamaica
Connor Albury slots home a penalty in front of the posts .We're in this game.

Bahamas 3 - 10 Jamaica
Lapse in concentration from the bakcs gives Jamaica a 2 man overlap - wing over in the right hand corner - missed conversion.

Half Time.
Iain Parish took some shots that I'll try to put up. No luck - fat fingers broke the chip.

Al-Mahdi will be OK - just shaken and out for the rest of teh week.

Second Half

Bahamas 6-10 Jamaica
Perfect start for the boys - pressure straight from kick off. Bahamas Penalty - Connor calmly executes - 30 yds out slightly to the right.

Bahamas 9-10 Jamaica

Connor again - poor Jamaican discipline. But this was a tough kick 25 yds to the left. Genius all that practice is paying huge dividends.

Bahama 9-15 Jamaica
I didn't see it as I was doing this.

Steve Johnson isn't too happy with the ref

Monster hit by Muscle (2) and another Jamaican leaves the field - shaken but OK - fair hit.

Jake Parish(10) is down - physio comes on, but his dad shouts at him to get up, so he does.

Another huge tackle - Jake prevents winger from scoring and thros him into dead ball.

Some of our boys are struggling to come to terms with offside and are being punished for it.

Jamaican backs have a lot of pace, but aren't passing well.

Another Jamaican 'water-break' injury - the third of the half.

Bahamas Red Card

Disaster! Devaughn Gibson (3) for kicking a guy while tackling him. I didn't see it but our bench is protesting.

Bahamas 9 - 22 Jamaica

The game's running away from us - our backs are giving their pace boys too much space to play.

Bahamas 9 - 27 Jamaica

Didn't see it.

Bahamas 9 - 34 Jamaica

Final Score. A tough final 15 minutes.

Disappointing, but not discouraging.

Next match - Trinidad & Tobago vs. Guyana

We'll play the loser of this game on Tuesday at 4:30pm (5:30 EST)

Iain Parish's Post-match comments:

"First 60 minutes, the commitment was excellent, the sending off with 20 minutes to go affected us badly. All in all tremendous spirit and lots to work on for the good."

Dan Woodside's Post-match Analysis:

Boys were great, even though we lost.
Communication in the forwards was lacking and they could have done more to support the backs. Once the forwards started to get the upper hand, in the second half, the Jamaicans went around them.
Backs were left out to dry at times.
Kickers needed to follow through and avoid offsides.
But we can build on this.

Great defence through 60 minutes, but by then the guys had nothing left.
They gave everything, so you have to be proud and we know what we need to do.
