Baillou kicked off at 1500.
With Baillou's Kevin Salabie, and Leon McPhee out with injuries, everyone was curious to see how the side would manage without their valuable assistance, but, speculation was seemingly laid to rest when within the first two minutes of play, Left Winger, Andrew Bodie, ran from their 10 yard line, evading three tackles to touch down wide to open the scoring of an exciting game, fit to have been televised; unconverted.
Not to be outdone, Cuckoos' Fly Half, Jeremico Cooper, evened the score; unconverted.
A missed penalty goal by Baillou left the score tied for much of the first half.
A classic passing play by the Baillou players ended sucessfully, with a try by their Outside Centre, Gio Rolle; converted by Scrum Half, Connor Albury to bring the score to 12 - 5.
In reply, Cuckoos' Blind Side Flanker, Andrew Bain's try was converted by Full Back, Brian Baker, to once again even the score.
Again, Baillou missed a penalty goal, but, Bodie made up for it with an excellent try; unconverted.
Cuckoos' Baker didn't miss his penalty goal, and, the score at half-time was Baillou 17; Cuckoos 15.

Open Blind Side Flanker, Dan Woodside's try was converted by Baker, taking the score to 25-17.
Cuckoos' Bain scored his second try of the match; converted by Baker.
Somehow, Baillou was unable to get back into the game, and, its only score in the second half came from a penalty goal kicked by Albury.
