It was a scrappy performance by the World Cup semi-finalists which shed doubts about their next two matches today against Scotland ad USA.

Collins Injera, Lavin Asego and Humphrey Kayange scored one try each.

Scotland who have two points from the opening four legs defeated USA 19-17.

The West Indies adjusted far better to the conditions kicking for territory and tackling aggressively, they registered the first try of the tournament through Claudius Butts and led 5-0 at the break.

Benjamin Ayimba’s half time talk had the desired effect though. It was a fine effort by West Indies and relief for the Kenyans.
