Coach and Referee Education, in the form of iRB Level 1 courses, will commence on Saturday, 14 February 2009, starting promptly at 10:00am and finishing at noon. The courses will alternate; coaching one Saturday, refereeing the next, although there will be some obvious crossover due to the nature of the subject.

Classes will take place in Classroom T26, which is upstairs in “T” Block of the Oakes Field Campus of the College of the Bahamas, Nassau. Access to the parking lot is via Tucker Road which forms the southern boundary to the campus and links Thompson Boulevard and Blue Hill Road. There may be a security guard on the gate; tell him you are there for the Rugby Course and he will let you in. There is a map here - switch to “satellite” view to see details. Please be there ready to start at 10:00. You must attend all sessions to be eligible for iRB certification.

Feel free to dress as casually as you please to be comfortable. Please bring a pen and either training shoes or boots as some of the course will be of a practical nature on the field but not hugely physical. Bring water, coffee or whatever you might need for the two hours as there will be nothing provided in the classroom.
