Though Buccaneers took the field with only 14 men, they fought hard in the first half.

Within minutes of kick-off, Cuckoos' Lock, Alec Packington, opened the scoring; unconverted.

About 20 minutes into play, Devon Gardner, Buccs' Blind Side Flanker, sustained an head injury, and, was made to sit on the sidelines for the balance of the game, leaving Buccs with 13 men.

Jon Isaacs, Cukoos' Right Wing, scored the second, and third tries; both unconverted.

Score at half-time: Cuckoos 15 - Buccaneers

In the second half, Cuckoos' Fly Half, Brian Baker found his form, and converted tries scored by Open Side Flanker, Dan Woodside; Blind Side Flanker, Andrew Bain; and, Outside Centre, Jamaal Curry.

Against all odds, Buccs' Scrum Half, Dorian Roach, scored a try, which was unconverted.

Cuckoos' Curry scored his second try, which was unconverted.

Cuckoos' Isaacs off - Ryan Nabbie on, and Doug Cowper off - Stevie Johnson on.

Buccs' Full Back, Benjy Pinder, pulled up, but, remained on the field.

An exciting run from the 50 yrd. line by Cuckoos' Bain ended in his second try; converted by Full Back Stevie Johnson.

Cuckoos' Delvano Higgs off - Ontero O'banyear on.

An excellent run by Buccs' Roach ended in disappointment when he stepped out of bounds.

Minutes later, after making a catch, Roach landed badly, twisting his right knee, and had to be helped from the field.

At this stage, Refree Garry Markham, blew off the match.

Final Score: Cuckoos 46 - Buccaneers 5.
