Search17th January 2009 : Guyana RFU announce AGMGRFU to hold AGM on Sunday February 1 The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) will hold its Annual General Meeting for the election of its Executive Committee at 11:00am on Sunday February 1 at the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club. The Rugby Union has had an extremely successful year, concluding with the National Men’s & Women’s Sevens Teams winning the Caribbean Championships held in the Bahamas in October. Five of Guyana’s Sevens players are short listed for selection to the Rugby West Indies Team which will be participating in the IRB Sevens World Series in Hong Kong from March 27-29.
