Chairman of Rugby West Indies Management Committee, Denis Dwyer, has announced the selection of the Rugby West Indies Team to participate in the XX Edition of the Punte del Este International Seven –A-Side Rugby Tournament in Uruguay, 3rd and 4th January 2009. The twelve players selected for the Punte del Este Tournament were chosen by the West Indies selectors from a short list of 24 players, first announced at the conclusion of the North American and West Indies Rugby Association (NAWIRA) Men’s and Women’s Caribbean Championship held in the Bahamas, October 24th and 25th .
