NATIONAL Sevens Rugby Champions, Stag Trinidad Northern will continue their hectic schedule as they defend their Sevens title tomorrow.



Among their rivals are Caribs Rugby Club, Marabella based Rainbow Sport and Cultural Club and a full strength Royalians Rugby Football Club in the tournament which kicks off today at St Mary’s College Ground, Serpentine Road, St James.


The Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Football Union (TTRFU) National Sevens Rugby Championships is hosted by the Trinidad Enthusiasts Rugby Club.


Royalians with four Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Sevens players, Kelson Figaro, Felecian Guerra, Andre Cabera and Carlton Felix in their lineup will be among the favourites to win the tournament.


Rainbow will be looking to their two national players, Matthew Marine and Kidan Siverthorne to boost their chances of taking the Sevens tournament to San Fer-nando.


Also at stake is entry into the prestigious Carib’s International Rugby Sevens tournament.


Royalians will also be defending their Women’s crown and Rainbow the Under-19 title.
