Trinidad and Tobago's national 7s rugby men and women teams have begun training for the upcoming NAWIRA 7s rugby championship will be held in the Bahamas on November 17-18.
Curtis Nero,the T&T team manager, said that the "Calypso Warriors" will be going all out to win both 7s titles.
"Rhett Chee Ping will coach the men 7s team in Bahamas and we are both working to make sure that the team is well prepared," Nero identified.
Sean O'Farrell had earlier this year notified the TTRFU that due to business commitments he could not continue to coach both the senior 7s and 15 and under 19 national rugby teams. O'Farrell opted to remain as coach of the under 19 national rugby team.
Simone Andrews continues as coach of the women's team.

Meanwhile the West Indies 7s rugby has been invited to participate at the 2008 IRB USA International 7s rugby tournament which will be held in San Diego.
Nero, manager of the West Indies team in 2007 pointed out that the West Indies rugby union will shortlist players based on performance at the upcoming NAWIRA tournament.
Nero indicated that he is looking forward to the 2008 IRB tournament in San Diego.
"I had an excellent working relationship with Joe Whipple, the players and the rest of the management team and I am confident that the West Indies team will improve in 2008"
