Forty years is a long time for any club to stay together especially as now we have no club house. Consequently the committee is arranging two events to celebrate the occasion. All former and current Baillou members are invited to come along and participate in the company of your former team mates. Reminisce about club tours or nights at the Ocean Spray.


Saturday, November 3rd - Match


We will be staging an Old Boys game at Winton. Hopefully everyone will once again put in an appearance on the field. Rules will be strictly enforced to avoid injuries and players can play for as long or as short as they want.

There will be food provided and commemorative T-shirts and golf shirts will be available together with club ties and current team jerseys. Show your support for the club.
That afternoon will also see the trials for the Bahamas National sevens team that will play in the NAWIRA Sevens - held in Nassau two weeks later on the 17th/18th November (click here for details) so there will be plenty of rugby action to watch if you don’t feel like playing.




Saturday, November 24th - Party


Baillou will be throwing a a 40th anniversary party at the Nassau Yacht Club on Saturday Nov. 24th.
Tickets should go on sale this week but please mark this date down on your calender.


Ticket price will be $40 per person and will include full buffet dinner and music entertainment for the evening. The party will start at 7:30pm - There will, of course, be a cash bar available.


We are looking for all Baillou members, young and old along with family, friends and fellow ruggers to attend and celebrate baillou's 40th anniversary. I will let everyone know when tickets go on sale.
