This is the first of what I hope will be a series of reports from Jamaal:

So far everything is going good and Ms. Simms is a great roomate. The complex we live in has everything I need such as food store, gym, restaurant, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, etc.
The rugby field is about a 20 minutes walk from here but I bought a bicycle so I ride to and from practise at night.
The rugby club fields 3 teams each week and so far I've been playing for the first side on the wing. We've played 2 games so far (won 1 and drew 1) but I haven't scored yet.
The coach who is an ex-Saracens thinks im pretty fast, very vocal and have good skills but I need to be more agressive and involved from the wing position. It's taking a bit of getting use to since I'm not really familiar with the wing and it's more technical than I thought but I'm sure I'll do fine at it.
Practises are pretty hard as we do a lot of fitness work and ball handling drills. The other night we did 14 sets of 300 metre runs (Shane!) and I almost died so yeah, its pretty tough. To add to that its cold and wet so the thin air is very hard to breathe.
With all of this and my extra fitness work I'll be in good shape for the Caribbean 7's if I make the team. I return home on the 8th November just in time for the training camp. Anyway, I'll try my best to keep you updated and hope all is well with you and the others. All the best!!
