According to a release, Nascimento and Guyana Rugby Football Union's president Noel Adonis represented Guyana at the two-day meeting.
Nascimento who also served as president of the North American West Indies Rugby Union (NAWIRA) last term, was replaced by Pearse Higgins of the Canadian Rugby Union.
The Guyanese was, however, appointed treasurer of NAWIRA, while newly-elected vice-president of the WIRU Dennis Dwyer of the Bermuda Rugby Football Union was elected secretary of NAWIRA.
