Winner of the 2006 IRB Development Award, Mike Luke has just been in Nassau to help us with our rugby development.


This was the first of two visits and was extremely constructive.
We have a long way to go, but in many ways this visit helped us to structure our plans for the future of the sport in The Bahamas.


We'll be looking to engage the clubs in discussions on improving our infrastructure and there will be a series of meetings with club officials to decide the direction in which we hope to take the sport over the next four years.


Many of you will remember Mike from the time he spent with the National Team in the build up to the World Cup Qualifiers, he's a great friend of Bahamas Rugby and we look forward to a longstanding relationship with him.


Having said that, its down to us to pull on our boots and go to work.
