T&T women's national rugby coach, Simone Andrews and Carlton Felix, a school rugby coach are currently based in England on a Loughborough University/Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Union Coach Exchange Programme.
The Trinidadian duo traveled to England on the 21st March and will return to Trinidad on the 26th April. The Loughborough University coaches are expected be in Trinidad and Tobago between 28th August – 30th September 2007.
David Morris, Loughborough University Head of Rugby Coach Development said that while in the UK, Andrews and Felix will enjoy a mind blowing coaching and cultural experience. He pointed out that the two coaches will be on a planned programme of continuous professional development and exposure to all levels of the Rugby Football Union. This will equip them with new skills and provide an insight into the RFU’s development structures and systems.
TTRFU President Dave Wong said that Loughborough University is one of the premier Sport Science and Sport Industry University's in the world.

"I am excited for both Simone and Carlton,they will spend five weeks in England, T&T rugby will benefit".
The funding for the coach exchange is provided by the England based BOOST Charitable foundation.
Four Caribbean Coaches are on the 2007 Exchange programme.
