BRFU Stella Artois Final (Bahamas Cup)

Baillou 19 - 18 Freeport

You couldn't have scripted a better end to the regular 15s season.
Freeport played what was probably their best rugby of the season and took the game to Baillou early - the only way to play Baillou.

Baillou (undefeated throughout the regular season) came off the blocks slow. There was nothing between the teams throughout the game and with a few minutes to go, Freeport were ahead 18 - 12.
However, a last gasp try in the corner, followed by a magnificent spot kick gave Baillou a 19-18 victory in what turned out to be the closest BRFU Stella Artois final in recent memory.

Kudos to Freeport, its never easy away from home and they represented well and congratulations to Baillou for getting back to their winning ways.

It should be noted that both sides played a considerable number of young players which bodes well for the future of Bahamas Rugby.
