I know I've mentioned this before, but with 2007 just around the corner, I think its worth repeating that the forthcoming year is an important one in the history of Bahamas Rugby.

The fact that the youngest team in Bahams rugby turns 10 and second youngest turns 40 is testimony to the staying power of both the sport and the clubs involved in the game of rugby in The Bahamas.

Its true that we need more teams, its also true that all of the clubs need to take their youth policies more seriously if the sport is to grow in accordance with its mandate. In fact there's a lot of room for improvement in many aspects of the game. However, generally speaking, rugby's in good shape and given the highs and lows we've experienced over the years, I'd like to take this opportunity to offer my personal thanks and respect to all the people who have contributed to the great game of Rugby Union in The Bahamas over the past 45 years, since the inception of the BRFU.

Here's to you all - Thank You!
