Last month's trip to Argentina was a very successful one.
A good time was had by all and we will be shortly making a decision as to whether we attend the Air New Zealand Festival in Edinburgh or the Vintage Festival in Christchurch in 2008. Edinburgh seems favourite at this moment.

Muscroft's Masters

As the Bahamas National Sevens team will be competing in the NAWIRU sevens Championship in Barbados over the weekend of the 11/12th November, the Conchs have been asked by the Union to stage an Old Boys game at Winton on November 11th.

I believe that we should be able to field two full sides but we need everyone to commit to play. If members will confirm their avalability then we can pre-select two teams which are evenly balanced in terms of age. Also if there are sufficient 'old boys' we can play one period of social rugby to encourage everyone to come out and participate. If I have enough interest shown in the game then I suggest that we put some food on that afternoon and
try and raise some money to assist with the following.

Turks & Caicos Trip

Chris Lleida has assumed responsibility to collect names of those players that are prepared to travel to Turks & Caicos early in the new year to play a game down there. TCI have travelled to Nassau on a number of occasions to play and it is time that we returned the complement. Although I doubt that TCI can raise a full Old Boys team so will be including all their players I believe that the Conchs are capable of fielding a team that will be
competitive. Paul Winder will be assisting with the arrangements and has promised some economic accommodation.

Freeport's Easter Festival

I do not know if Freeport are holding an Easter Festival this year but if so we would like to send a team to play. We would also like to host a Freeport team in Nassau this season and create an annual Nassau v Freeport Old Boys game.
