30th August 2006 : John Wells 'Moving On'

Some disappointing news this week from John Wells. He'll be leaving his current job to take up a post in the US 'quite soon' and will not be available to referee BRFU matches for a while.

John, who has only been with us for a few short years has made his presence felt in almost every aspect of the game, both as a referee and as assistant coach to the Bahamas National XV and played a big part in our recent RWC successes.

John congratulates a fellow Canadian Referee on keeping up the tradition of 'Missing a good game'.

However, he's pointed out that he'll only be 'up the road', in Key West and will be available to ref as many games as he can.
