When my Mum, Dad, the coach and Dan’s adopted family took him out for his birthday pint my Mum said “Dan, do you have any brothers and sisters?” to which he responded “Yes mam, 30”


Mum said nearly everyone around the table dropped their pint


Apparently his dad is a bit of a Cat Island legend.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember the UK is 5-hours ahead of us.

That means you can’t be hammered in the Beach Hut at 10pm on a Friday and decide you all want to hail your boy Dan. He is staying with a young family and I don’t think they would be too impressed with a call in the early hours.


He just had his email set up so don’t expect a quick response. He is continuing to settle in quite well from what I’ve heard.
