On the weekend, he stalked bumped into Colin Charvis, the ex-Wales captain near the Cricket Club. As Andy pointed out,
I asked him if he was a South Cat Island Charvis or an Acklins Charvis but he said his people weren't from there so I don't think we can claim him.

Welsh back rower Charvis currently plays for Newcastle Falcons who he joined from from French club Tarbes in the summer of 2004, having moved to France from Swansea on a short-term contract after the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
In his first season at the Falcons he won the player of the season award after some barnstorming displays, although a broken bone in the foot frustratingly saw him miss out on Wales’s Grand Slam as well as some key games at club level.
Charvis has played all three positions across the back row, and is renowned for his leadership and physical style of play upfront.
His long international career for Wales started with his Test debut against Australia back in December 1996.
A hat-trick of tries against Romania in 2001 saw him become the first Welsh forward in 98 years to score three times in a fully capped international, but he bettered it three years later when he scored an amazing four tries in the same Test against Japan.
Charvis, who has benn capped 84 times for Wales, started his career with London Welsh, where he won Wales Under-21 and Students honours.
Mike Ruddock, who would go on to become Wales coach, then took him to the famous Swansea club in 1995, where Charvis developed talismanic status, playing a key role in helping them claim the Welsh league title in 1998 and 2001, as well as the Welsh Cup in 1999.
In 2001 Wales coach Graham Henry called Charvis up for the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia, where he benched in the first and last Tests, making five appearances and scoring three tries in total on the trip.
